New era for japan

Japan has just announced for their new era for the pass week.The emperor Akihito will pass it throne to his son ,Crown Prince Naruhito .The new era will begin at 1 may 2019 which is not far from today.The new name for new era is Reiwa (令和).This is the most important day for all Japanese people.

For the past era name is heisei 平成 (achieving peace) . For name Reiwa has a deep meaning behind it. Prime minister Shinzo Abe has announced this deep meaning .The meaning is culture is born and nourished as people hearts are drawn beautifully together.It is not a easy job to decide it. It has to go through a lot of select groups expert and senior politicians.Finally made a decision on it.

The first character of the era name, “rei,” also means “good” or “beautiful,” while the second, “wa” could mean “peace,” ”harmony” or “mild” as in the introduction to a Manyoshu section with poems about plum flowers. “It is now the good month in early spring, the air is fresh and wind is soft. The plums blossoms are like the white powder of a beauty before a mirror, the fragrance like that which follows the sachet of a noble lady,” it says, describing a scene at a party where people open their hearts.

Japan citizen Takashi Imamura show appreciation for their Emperor Akihito ,working non-stop for 30 years.Its times for them to take a rest and go travel.He wants to tell them thank you for everything.

At the day of announcement ,people are waiting outside Inui gates of the Imperial Palace.They are checking about the latest news with their smartphone.Hisako Tamura, a 70-year-old who was visiting Tokyo from Kobe, praised the name, saying that it “has a ring to it and is easy to write.”“It’s a great choice,” she added.

Nonetheless, she said, “there was not a war in Japan in Heisei,” adding that working environments for women have improved in terms of advancement in their workplace.Tamura was worried, however, that a graying population and a declining birthrate would top the country’s agenda in the new era.

She feared that the inequality between seniors, who have families and financial means, and those who do not will “widen significantly.”“When those people get older and become sick, I wonder what is going to happen,” she said.
